Welcome to The Screw House, this page is about DJ Screw, a DJ from Houston, Texas that mixes and slows down music. This page also features music from "The Screwed Up Click." In addition to several CDs that he has released since 1995, DJ Screw has released numerous mix tapes which he sells out of his store in Houston. Many of the tapes feature freestyles from members of The Screwed Up Click. It may sound stupid to slow down music, but it has become very popular since it all started in 1992. So popular, in fact, many people try to duplicate it, but none come close. The demand for DJ Screw's tapes is very high, that's why I made this page. Screw does not distribute his tapes nationally and many people that have moved away from the Houston area still love to listen to his music as well as the rest of The Screwed Up Click, and I just wanted to let the whole world hear Screw.

All the music on this page is in the Real Audio format. Most of the music on this page is encoded with Real Audio Encoder 3.1, so you will not necessarily need the G2 player to listen to these, but it is recommended. If you don't have it, click on the picture below to get it.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I added a new flow in the Screwed section from "In The Zone," two more songs from Lil' Troy "Sittin Fat Down South" are in the Other Music section as well as some more updates to that section, and more "All Work, No Play." Added some more S.S.P. and screws too.

I read the DJ Screw bulletin board every now and then and I noticed they were talking about Gator and Lil' 3rd were dead. Well, from what I've heard Gator's been dead for nearly a month, apparently from suicide, but Lil' 3rd is not dead. Still haven't heard if it's true, but someone on the message board said that at a recent concert, C-Note was saying "R.I.P. Gator" and had it on his shirt, so I guess R.I.P. Gator.

I'm sure many of you have heard the new song "June 27th" by Lil' Keke and Pokey. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be on Lil' Keke or Pokey's CD. I guess it's on Pokey's, but if you haven't heard it, it's pretty tight, it's got a beat similar to the flow from the tape of the same name. Also, last week I saw DMD's "25 Lighterz" video on Street Flava. It's tight too. On Fat Pat's verse, they show Fat Pat in the studio when they were making the song.

I added an "Add-Your-Link" feature that if you want to add your page to the list, you can submit your web page. If you have a banner for your page, I should already have it listed on the banner link page, but if I had a text link for your page, or if you want a text link for your page, you will need to add it again. That is in the "Links" section. Also, check out the message board. I will add a new topic whenever I can think of one so be sure to check it every now and then. The current topic is: "What is your favorite Screw tape and why?" The link is down at the bottom where it says "Enter The Forum." If you've got an idea for another topic, let me know.

Pokey's new album "The Biggest Pit in the Litter" is supposedly due out on June 29th. Go to The World of Eightball to listen to the new Southside with Lil' Keke and Eightball. Yngballa@aol.com tells me that Lil' Keke's "It Was All A Dream" comes out July 6. It was announced at a concert he did with C-Note, Lil' Troy, and Eightball recently. Big thanks for giving me that info.
